Can I do my epq on religion’s effects of growth

I plan to do an epq on the impact of religion on society but im worried it might look almost anti-religion. I have other ideas like the effect of ai/ai generated media like brainrot. or the concept of freedom in society being a scam. MAN IDK

Don't worry about it seeming anti-religion, that doesn't matter. Some things to keep in mind though are that an EPQ essay is meant to present an argument with different sides/ideas - you can definitely do this with your topic just make sure you word the question right. Second thing is i would recommend to have a focused topic - you don't want to go very broad as you won't be able to go into detail with anything. So perhaps focus on the impact of religion in a specific region (like Utah might be interesting), or a specific time period, or on something specific in society (education, art, etc) It sounds like an interesting thing to research and write about, so I think you should stick with it if you find it interesting.
