You should be able to get your timetable when you enrol. Do you know when that will be?

Hi,

Firstly, a massive congratulations on getting into City for children's nursing! This is an incredible achievement and you should be really proud of yourself. It's normal to think about travel expenses when starting uni because it can be a lot of money. You can get a railcard to help with your travel costs and you can also use your current oyster card for one extra year so that way you can travel on buses for free. In terms of timetabling, my first year timetable was the most jampacked compared to my second and final year ones (I studied psychology). I was in 4-5 times a week in lectures, seminars and labs. That was definitely expensive for me in terms of me commuting and I definitely wished that I invested in a railcard sooner, so please do look into travel card/rail card and any other options. I hope that helps!

Best wishes,
Ishrat (CUoL Rep) 😊
