Are these grades sufficient for Cambridge economics?

I know that universities look mainly at A Levels however GCSE grades are also considered and I wanted to know whether these would still give me a chance as they are below what I wanted.

Maths- 8
Science- 8-8
English Literature- 8
English Language- 7
RE- 8
Sociology- 8
French- 9
History- 8
Business- 7
Further Maths- 7
Polish- 9

It's impossible to say. You need A level grades and all the other elements of an application before GCSEs become relevant or not. If your A levels are A*A*A*A* then these GCSE;s aren't going to make a jot of difference. If your A level grades are AAA then they might come in to play. And before you ask - at this stage, without all the other aspects of your application in place, these might be considered strong enough or to weak - no-one knows until the whole application is put together and compared with the competition that year.
