Resources for A-Level Economics (AQA)

I'm currently in the summer before year 12 and I want to prepare for A-Level economics seeing as I did not do it at GCSE. What websites, textbooks or youtube channels would you recommend I use to study?

Hiya,

I've just finished Year 12, and I study AQA Econ. Below are some resources I've utilised throughout the year:

1) EconPlusDal - Fantastic ex-teacher on YouTube who provides short, to the point videos on topics for quick understanding.
2) CGP Textbook - Really solid and concise textbook
3) Other Textbook - A really thick textbook with a lotta information in it. I don't use it as my main textbook, but if the CGP on is shallow in some sections and is difficult to understand, this one is usually more wordy and goes into depth on the smaller specification bullet points.

I'm sure you should be able to find these textbooks cheaper elsewhere, this is just a link to them! ^^

4) Reading the news! BBC news for surface level stories, and The Financial Times for in depth analysis - these can be helpful for gathering examples for essays.
5) For online textbooks and suchlike: See Economics Help - nice and concise articles with examples. PMT for past papers, other notes and flashcards. Tutor2u for other supplementary notes - I'm not a fan of this resource but many of my peers use them!

Hope this helps - good luck with econ!
