The Student Room Group

My maximum tuition fee is only 1,850 when I need 9,250, help!

It's august 25th, just before my 3rd and final year starts and im having the exact problem another person had 5 years ago, that thread was closed and there wasn't an answer so i cant learn anything from that.

This was the post below, its the exact situation im in too

"I applied to student finance back in March for my 3rd year. I was told I was eligible for £1850. I assumed this was the amount for the final year. I was wrong. I found out in the middle of August when I re-enrolled for Uni, that I needed £9250 for the year. I phoned Student Finance England and was told that was the maximum amount I could apply for and that my Uni had to send a change of circumstances form. My Uni has done this, and today I received a letter on my finance account to say that my application for £1850 was successful. But I need the full £9250.

What else can I do to get my full amount of Finance?"

Please help! :frown:
