GCSE maths remark (2 marks off a 7)

So happily I am able to study a level maths with my school and I will work as hard as I can every single day to get that A* in maths, just wanted to quickly ask anyone if that grade 6 would come back to bite me when applying for a top uni or sometime in the future (assuming I did get the A/A* in maths) and weather it is worth getting the remark.
