A Typical Day at Liverpool Hope University!

Hey all,

So recently, I thought it would be a good idea to give prospective students an idea of what a typical day at Liverpool Hope can look like!

Firstly, you're looking at around about 3-4 varying days each week during term time. But I'm going to give an average longer day as the typical day!!

Soooo, starting off at a 10am (or 9am if you're unlucky ahaha) lecture - 1 hour of delivered content - you might then have a 1 or 2 hour break to hang out with coursemates, have lunch and study, or all three at once. Then it's time for a seminar - around 2 hours of case study or practical work - with a tutorial - 1 hour smaller group deliberative session with tutor - afterwards (don't worry lecturers know you need a coffee break!!!). That's the study stuff. But the day is not over yet!

Depending on what you're interested in, you could go to a society, take part in a sports team, or hang out with coursemates in the student bar, Our Place - the social aspect of university is important too. The Students' Union and Student Life put on regular events throughout campus and in Our Place so that's always a great opportunity to socialise with a range of people.

Do any other current Hope students or alumni have anything to add? What are you who are coming to Hope in a few weeks looking forward to? And most importantly, let us know if you have any questions!!!

All the best wishes and see you soon at Hope,
