AAAAAAAARRRRGHHHH!!!! - A year 12 GYG

Heya, I'm Moon and I'm going into year 12. This is good news because I'm finally a 6th former but also horrible news because i made so many mistakes in year 10 that I'm inevitably going to make AGAIN. I'm doing A levels in Maths, Bio and chem and I'm also taking an EPQ. IM SCARED AS HELL because maths grade boundaries are so horrible, and so are chem and biology has that big fat essay that I legitimately cba to do. Anyways, I'm gonna be like revising for 1hr per subject per day, but for maths and chem i'll probs aim for 2hrs. will moon sink or swim?? will she be over the moon or will moon be 6ft deep? who knows.

Hey! I'm Violet and I just finished school so about to go to uni... This was my experience of sixthform. Firstly, doing those subjects does sound INTENSE! But I'm sure you will smash it. I did Art, Geography and Psychology, as well as an EPQ. Personally, I think I wish I was more engaged with revising the basics in lower sixth, as I thought I had a lot of time to catch up on stuff. I would say, keep up on the stuff you cover in year 12, as you won't have time to go over it in year 13. Art was very coursework led so that was intense, but I kept on top of all of that work so that turned out fine. I struggled with psychology just because there were a lot of new key terms and facts to learn which you needed to know to help with the rest of the course. So if you are efficient with learning all the new key terms and basic stuff in year 12, year 13 will be a lot easier! It also sounds like your going to be very on it with your revision each day, so I think you'll be absoluletly fine! Good luck for year 12 - I've just finished it and do geography, bio, chem, maths so definietely keep on top of your revision and notes and you will smash it xx
