Hi all. I have been offered one Poole street (en-suite) which I wasn’t happy about as my course takes place in Bloomsbury. Hence I applied for intercollegiate halls via the waiting list so I might be able to get a room closer to campus. They are only telling us whether we got offered a room or not in early September however UCL also sent an email today saying if we cancel our current booking after August 31st then we lose the £400 we paid as deposit. Of course I don’t want the money go to waste and I’ve seen many people not receiving a UCL accom offer so would I be able to give my one Poole room to them (provided I get given a room at an intercollegiate only) and hence the £400 doesn’t go to waste? Not really sure if it works like that or not.
