I’m not sure what to do now in regards to my education.

Hello! I’m sorry if this post is a bit long winded since I’m not really sure how and where this is meant to go but here.

I’m a collage student and has already completed a year of collage of early years education level 2 and I was looking to join another course but I didn’t get in due to my maths GCSE being too low. The course I was looking into getting into was patisserie and the teacher left it really late to let me know I hadn’t gotten in as collage starts September first and has only gotten back to me today after emailing. I had a bunch of trouble getting into a course to begin with since nothing was picking my fancy and I wanted to join something i could picture myself doing which was undoubtedly very little choice. I did my early years and completed it but I don’t think it’s something I want to do in the future but did enjoy the course. I got my maths gcse as a 1 and my English as a 3. I’m really stuck on what to do now as I need to be in education since I’m getting my braces soon so I would rather not pay the thousand of pounds to get that done and I would just rather not be in a job until a year later when I’ve had enough time to find one and let alone get used to working. I’m really not sure what to do here and I’m stuck, does anyone have any advice as I’m not sure who to talk to this about this.

My advice would be to make a list of all the available courses and then cross out the ones you don't meet the entry requirements for. You'll then have a list to choose from and you can go from there. Pick a course which you'll enjoy because that should lead you into a career that you'll also enjoy!
