2026 ucat

Hello, I was wondering if there is any information available regarding UCAT cut offs for 2026 entry in light of changes this year? My son has SJT Band 1 and 2370 from ucat exam today. Thanks in advance for any input.

Honestly, yes I think he could get into Oxford (really high score, congrats on that!) but I'm not too sure.

The official cut offs and deciles haven't been released yet they'll come out in early October but Im pretty sure its 95+ percentile, so I would advice you to list down Oxbridge, Imperial and UCL as ur temporary choices, and once the deciles are released you can check if you meet the requirements and if your percentiles really high, like 98th percentile, then go for these top unis (although they may consider GCSE results as well so u might wanna check that).

Oh and btw, can you pls advice me on how to bring my VR score up if possible, the problem with me is accuracy - I can finish the qs on time but not with a very high accuracy which brings my score down. My UCAT is in 4 days, so any help would be appreciated.
Congrats again on your score, and I do hope you get into a top uni for medicine.

Thank you for replying. It was my son so I can't really help and he would be mortified if he thought I was on here trying to figure out what unis to put down so can't ask him. He's very relaxed about the whole thing, unlike me. I know he watched YouTube videos for help with VR but it was his worst score out of the three sections. I think everyone finds it difficult. Good luck with your UCAT.
