For activity day I've chosen an obstacle course thingy - its so far out of my comfort zone lol but hopefully it will be fun
Omg yesss one of my friends in my class does 3 coursework subjects and I do not envy him at all
Icl since my last post I've started liking maths again 😭soz guys ur gonna get a lot of me going back and forth on this tbh. Its a major love/hate relationship and I just cant decide lol
But yes he does also do maths so maybe that could work
Oooo the obstacle course sounds exciting 🤩 I'm sure you'll have fun and regardless you've pushed yourself to try out something new

Yeah i like pure too, stats i enjoy but i dont like the exam questions cos maths shouldn’t have so much writing. Mechanics is evil

last year I did volutneering but this year I'm doing gardening with my friend as my enrichment activity

I hate the independent investigation so much 😭 - I'm glad I only have one coursework subject unlike some who have like 3 but I'm just so clueless on it

maths is no longer fun - I think the novelty of actually learning stuff has worn off lol now its boring and difficult again but oh well

so we had start of year tests two weeks ago (partly why I havent posted in a while) and they weren't great. I was definitely disappointed in some of my results and this was the worst report I have ever gotten but I didnt revise properly for these so I know I need to lock in. I got ABBC (geo,maths,chem,bio)

on a more positive note I managaed 37/40 on pure maths and the three marks I lost were such silly mistakes so I definitely couldve gotten full marks in that if I had time to go over and check my answers lol

so many of my friends have their birthdays coming up soon and I am so bad at buying gifts so thats jsut extra stress yay
•
ok but despite all the stress of year 13 there are still good bits and like I'm still loving the whole experience 😭

Some gift advice (from my own experience) make something if you have the time or gift them something practical that you know they use or would like e.g. I gifted my friend a new purse in her fav colour (as her purse was falling apart and she wanted to have things in her fav colour xx)

I'm still not 100% on unis but I think sheffield, ucl, newcastle, birmingham, cardiff, liverpool, UWE are the ones I'm considering - just need to finalise the five lol

What is Superpowers? Is it global governance (IGOs/NGOs/UN security councils) , hard and soft power?
The Carbon Cycle is the worst topic in Geography except the climate change stuff.
