Kmms students - please help!

Hello

I’m going to sitting my GCSE’s next year and I’m very interested in studying medicine at KMMS . I’ve visited some open days and it’s near where I live so it’s ideal for my circumstances….

Can you please share your GCSE stats please? I’m worried that going to a grammar school will work against me and I’m worried that only straight 9’s and 8’ are really accepted …and expected…

Would love to hear from current students please!

hey im not a KMMS student but applied last cycle and got an interview (was rejected post interview but we move). I would suggest you don't apply to KMMS if you go to a school with a high attainment 8 score. I cant 100% remember but you need to have like %20 higher gcses than the average for your school. But for some people this just isn't possible, because if the average is straight 8/9s you cant get in.

Yes, I'm off to Leicester to study med in September : )

I would also recommend using something online called "MyUcat Strategic Applications" it helped me get all my interviews, applying strategically is very important.
