UCAT Help !!!!

hello so,

this'll be my 2nd time taking the UCAT. last year i was averaging 1300/1400 and on test day I got 1960 B3, which wasn't the best but also not bad. I didn't actually apply in the end.

Now i've started the UCAT prep a few weeks ago, probably 3-4 weeks ago but I didn't keep up due to personal reasons and the fact we're still on holiday (roadtrips, family gathering, pool days etc.)

Im averaging 1200-1300 B3 rn based on diagnostics test, and I tend to get most questions wrong in those practice sections on Medify. I know why though and it mainly goes down to time, but also I need tips on how to get better.

my exam is just under a month away on the 25th and i'd ideally love 2100 B1 🙂 I also have mitigating circumstances which I describe in another post

Hi,

So there is this YouTube channel that only opened recently and I found really good, you might want to check it out, it's called @JoyelGeorge2004 - Youtube .

Also, could you help me real quick? You said this is the 2nd time you are taking the UCAT so during that year gap what did you do? I'm kinda in a situation where I might have to redo my UCAT next year just like you.

hii! ive actually started watching him just now lol. as for what to do, i personally didn't do much, i am a mature student so i have been out of school for some time. However!! try and get some work experience, especially in a care home!! i had a job there for a year and its really good for work experience! you'll improve communication skills as well deal with medications or just being around old folk who all have different needs.

Okay thank you! I'm honestly going to try apply this year, I have done in person hospital and online medical work experience. But no volunteering which might affect my application but i'm going to try and do that and if I don't get in, then take a gap year. Also sorry to bother you asking so many questions but since you have been out of school, how do you apply to university now? Do you apply from home on UCAS or through the school?
