uni of plymouth, my ucas hasnt updated since results day, med applicant

hi if anyone can help or give advice it would be much appreciated! i got my results and i was one grade off my offer to study medicine with a foundation year. due to this, my uni (uni of plymouth) hasnt changed my status on ucas since results day. i phoned them up several times and they said its because they put me on a reserve list (im second on the list) and if any places do become available (if someone drops out) theyd call me up and offer me a place. as of now i am just waiting and have nowhere to go. if anyone else has experienced this or is experiencing this please let me know as it would help me on how to proceed. also, do unis actually use the reserve list and has anyone on a reserve list for medicine in the past actually gotten in???

I emailed them first and then they emailed me back. They changed my rank and when I asked why I didn’t get an actual answer. it’s so unfair. What’s urs?

Hi there, so sorry to hear about your situation and I hope you can find a solution that best works for you and your future studies.

I've not got any personal experience with this situation so my only advice would be to keep in touch with the admissions team on +441752585858 and [email protected] who will best be able to advise on current space/application status etc. I would recommend also having a look at other options should no spaces become available, such as other courses, pathways, and routes.

Best of luck and I hope you can find a solution that works out for you!
