Vet medicine uni

Hi I’m applying for gateway vet science at the university of Bristol and I’m really confused about the application process as they don’t look at personal statements but require students to do a SAQ . If anybody has done the questionnaire or assessment could you please tell me what things they asked or examples as I’m pretty scared it’ll be too hard
Thanks !!

I think its mainly a way for you to outline skills and examples of why you will be good for the course

Hello there, after completing the SAQ last year and getting a place here is my best advice I can give on the SAQ. Make sure to read the question really carefully, as it will often hint to what they want you to write (the worst thing you can do is write a nicely worded long answer that hasn't answered the question well enough.). It is also really important to be honest and clear on what skills you may have, and reflect on skills you might not have yet, and equally how you may go about gaining them, if that's asked. Unfortunately we cant share any examples or questions we were asked, but hopefully you find this helpful. Good luck!

Hi, i don't think i'm allowed to say the questions but its very similar to yr personal statement questions. Also the questions tend to be in parts so make sure u answer the whole thing rather than do the 1st part which is wht I did at first. I did a whole 1000 word essay to realise i had to do it all over again since I didn't answer the question.
