Southampton Uni Marketing Course grades
Hi guys, i am currently going into y13, and my top choice is southampton uni and i hope to study a marketing degree there and i really want to go to that uni. The requireemnts are GCSE english at a 4 and Maths at a 6, and i got a 6 in English and 5 in maths, but the requirements states if you get a 5 in maths then youll need a B in a-level business. At college, i do a-level business where I am predicted a B but i am worried i will get a C and then I do L3 CTEC Digital Media where i am preidcted a D*D*. The a-level requirements are AAA or DDD for BTEC but then says
'Please note we can only accept grade 6 in GCSE mathematics if you are studying BTEC qualifications.'
Do you think i am able to get an offer for this uni and onto the couse? I really like this uni and i really want to go there. Any adivce or anything would be helpful

is ctec the same as btec?

Hey I want to do marketing at Southampton next year too! I think where is says about they only accept a grade 6 if you study btec they might mean when you study just a btec and not a btec alongside 2 a levels? I’m not sure though, you’d be best off going to an open day
