What tech we getting???
Hiii, what laptops or iPads are we all getting? I don’t know which one is best, I have an iPad but I don’t know if a laptop would be better. Any recommendations???

My daughter is going to York for Biomed.
Based on her older sister's uni experiences she chose Ipad Air and Pencil Pro for note taking and daily use, plus a mid range Lenovo laptop (with decent keyboard and screen) for writing assignments. If you are okay with 2 different devices these cover a lot of subjects, but may not be up to CS/Engineering needs.
York uses Blackboard as its VLE, which pretty tolerant of devices, though I don't know if it plays nice with Chromebooks which could be a cheaper option for assignment writing. York also does laptop loans if you need them
