Do you need previous science/nursing qualification or experience for a nursing degree

I'm starting an undergraduate adult nursing degree but I do not have any previous nursing or science experience or qualification.

Do you need to have previous academic knowledge or is it possible to learn on the degree as a newbie to nursing?

I think it depends where you want to go, but it seems like most universities at least require a couple classes with passing grades in science classes.
