am i getting ripped off? -UCLan vet med 2025

Just for context I am applying as an international student to uclan vet med.
on my CAS shield it states that my tuition fees are 39,000 per year but then on my unconditional offer letter it says 49,000 instead…
I’ve checked the fees stated on there website and it clearly states 39,000.
I’m shocked. Why am I being charged 10,000 more?

Have you spoken to them and asked? I don’t think anyone here could tell you with authority, but I hope they sort it out for you.

Could this be for your halls of residence too maybe?

its fine now! I’ve talked to them and apparently they have mixed my course with the much more expensive medicine course :smile:

so all good xx

Hi Zac,
I have submitted my UCAS form today. I’ve heard off my other 3 vet med choices, will UCLan send out an acknowledgement too?

Thank you for your message and patience. It's great to hear that you applied to study with us. I don't believe we sent acknowledgements after the UCAS application form is submitted however you can check the status of your application in your UCAS Hub account.
