Epq or core maths?
I am planning to take nursing/medicine, which is much better as side subject, Epq or core maths?

Core Maths.
An EPQ will have no impact on a Med application, but Core Maths will support your STEM A levels and keep your Maths skills current.
And what on earth are you doing taking 5 A levels. Again, it wont help you get a place for Med - Unis will just ignore the other 2 subjects. No-one is going to think 'oooo, clever'. An entirely pointless waste of time.

epq for sure. i did both and core maths is the most useless subject ever like no uni cares about it sadly esp for med and it’s not rated at all. i was bullied for doing it. if you want a rly easy subject to just do for the sake of it like if your sch is forcing you then yeah core maths is a lot easier than epq. but if you actually want something fun that could even get you a reduced offer for some unis then defo epq. i had to do both at my sch but if i had to only choose one then 1000% epq xx
