Exeter accom
Can someone help , I have no accommodation and the private accom is 200+ for 52 weeks. I don’t know what to do

Heyy, I'm in this EXACT situation and im scared too, but I've accepted that my options are to either try and defer for next year or work during the course. I'm upset about it because my course is full on, but im gonna get a job. Many employers nearby like home bargains etc will offer evening shifts with students in mind. Hope you're okay xx

I've just had to cancel my room, so it's back up for 165pw, it's called the Printworks, just off Sidwell

I’ve deferred, the only private accommodation left was 30 mins out of campus. I didn’t think I would get the right uni experience for me if I had to commute into campus after speaking to students who are already there.
When I called them about deferring, they said you have to put in a request quickly as spaces are running out, this was their advice a week ago xx

Hey have you had any update about it , idk whether to drop out or not , I’ve managed to get a house with some second years but I feel like I’m just forfeiting that first year experience for a lot of money. I have the option to defer or go to this house , end up not really liking uni because I’m not 100% on it anyways and then having to pay back a whole year of the house. I feel so stuck like my whole life is dependent on it 😭

That makes me feel better tbh , I just don’t know whether to go for this second year house or not
