Is Turnitin flagging stuff wrongly for anyone else?

I’m confused because my work keeps getting flagged for plagiarism/AI even when I write it myself.

I heard about something called Plagirazor that supposedly fixes this, but I’m not sure if it’s real!

Has anyone else run into this?

yeah i tried plagirazor couple times..it doesn’t like rewrite the whole thing but when i ran my doc through it and checked on turnitin the % dropped a lot (went down to like 2%). i even submitted one of my papers after that and it went through fine lol
I don't see the point of using Turnitin (or anything like it). If you know you haven't plagiarised then why bother? I did my whole degree without using anything like that 🤷*♀️
I'd strongly advise against using anything that rewrites your work!

Turnitin is the bane of my existance, but here's the thing - it's rubbish and everyone knows it, because it's so trigger-happy to detect similarities. Who hasn't had turnitin decide that you plagiarised the word "and"? In the last few assignments I submitted last year it even decided that I "plagiarised" the page numbers

In the end staff only use turnitin as a potential guide for plagiarism so I wouldn't worry too much about it, unless it starts flagging whole chunks or sentences that are specific to what you are writing about in your essays. If that's the case, it might not be that you're plagiarising per se, you just haven't quite cracked the university essay and need to paraphrase a little more, or put certain things that are quoted word for word from other sources in quotes. Also, if your references are in order, there's little to worry about.

Yes. Turnitin got an update on 27th August. And they are messing up bad. They don’t know what they are doing.
