year 13 in need...

i got my as level results and i got a D in a level history, a D in a level psychology and a pass in applied science. i am literally having a mental breakdown. please help 😰. i just started yr 13 and i am currently in sixth form

Hi, I didn’t do these subjects but I will just offer you general advice about how to bounce back from setbacks in mocks.

I would recommend you arrange a meeting with your teachers and form tutor/academic tutor first and foremost to discuss where your weaknesses are and how you can improve. Explain how your mental health stands so that the school can arrange support alongside if you so wish. Go to subject clinics weekly for support.

I would create a traffic light list (red, amber, green) where red is your weakest topics. Prioritise learning the content for the red topics. and for amber, prioritise strengthening the content and trying some exam practice alongside. Do work on your green topics, from time to time, you can maybe schedule an hour a two a week to revise these via flashcards or short quizzes.
