Ucat burnout

My exam is in 4 days ( 4 sept ). I am experiencing immense burnout and cant even sit down and practise for 20 minutes. I have also noticed i am getting tired more quickly and my scores are going down ... does anyone know how to tackle this before my exam? i dont want to go in with the wrong mindset

Nothing, gives yourself a 4 day rest and do things you love doing. Stop studying for ucat.

I understand how you're feeling; the day before my UCAT I was burnt out and stressing so much because my scores just kept dropping and I was not improving despite lots of practice. I think it helps to remind yourself why you want to do the UCAT, reminding yourself that it's only temporary and is only a step to get you into medical/dental school. I can really recommend getting a good nights sleep (I know that may be difficult because of all the stress!!!!) but really it helps. Taking breaks is important and trying to distract yourself, and honestly when you get in the actual exam you become really really focused and most people, including myself, do better in the real thing than mocks. You also have like 7-8 minutes at the beginning of the test which are really useful to compose yourself and prepare and get into the right mindset, even if its just repeating positive thoughts about how you will do over and over and deep breathing!!!
Good luck in the test!
