UniAcco Student Accommodation Agents

The worst ever student accommodation experience that a person can ever have. The accommodation agents (experts as they call themselves) were so unprofessional, negligent, and incompetent on the whole. I am a student in Sheffield and have been living here for sometimes now and wanted to move to a new accommodation when my friend recommended UniAcco. She trusted them so much so I trusted them too. Biggest blunder of my time in the UK honestly. The agent Rajesh was actively engaged until I paid the deposit for UniAcco and the accommodation and then said another agent Neha will handle my case as there was a delay in response regarding my guarantor. After payments both of them never responded to anything properly or with concern to an international student in new lands. I had to move in a bit earlier due to my current accommodation bond; they promised me a place for two weeks in the same accommodation that I had booked ( the agent was 110% sure that it’s available for me). These were their words and two days ahead of my movein Rajesh said an early arrival isn’t possible and by this point I had no other place to go to. Then the same people told me they will find a temporary living for me. But they never got anything until the day I move out. I was stranded without a place to live in for two weeks and have booked an Airbnb for two weeks now costing me heavens!!! They haven’t answered any of my calls or messages .
I trusted them even in the last few days despite of everything that had happened but not a single person was concerned. Even when I tried to reach their customer care no one responded.
Do not come from a different current directly booking through such unreliable agent is all I wanna register here. I had some savings so I managed if you are from a different country and arrive here trusting people from Uniacco you’ll be homeless as me too. Donot risk it. There are other university accommodation providers who will help you and be concerned about your living but UniAcco doesn’t give a crap what happens to you.
After all this I am still waiting for my deposit refund as well.
