First of all, I'm so sorry you're going through this. I know what it feels like to have no idea what you're doing. Have you tried picking subjects that you have a passion about? It can be a tricky but I would try your hardest to pick a levels that you actually enjoy as it's a lot of work. Also I would try not to worry about not knowing what to do - many people are in your position and it might help of you try and talk with your parents, friends and teachers. You could also see if there's an alternative to a levels (like IB, T-levels, apprenticeships, level 3 foundation courses etc) that you could do. Hope this is helpful ☺️. God bless and Jesus loves you ❤️. Feel free to ask any more questions - I am going into Yr 13 btw

Hi there,

You’re definitely not alone in feeling like this - GCSE results week has so much pressure attached to it, and it can make everything about the future feel overwhelming. Lots of people don’t know their exact path at 16, and that’s okay.
If you’re unsure what to pick for A-levels, go with subjects you enjoy or feel comfortable in - they keep more doors open later. Most unis have loads of different courses, so you don’t need to have it all figured out now.

Take things one step at a time: focus on choosing subjects you can see yourself managing, and don’t put pressure on yourself to have your whole career mapped out yet.

You’ve got time.

Daniel
