Is core maths easy (AS level)

It just seems like foundation maths with a bit of easy gcse statistics and common sense stuff like income tax
I don't know if it is easy because I didn't do core maths, but my maths teacher in Year 11 always tried to convince us to do it by saying it was really easy (I was in top set maths, so that probably influenced what he said as well)

Yes very easy but make sure you have the right calculator otherwise using the data sheet to find normal distributions and stuff can be very time consuming and easy to make mistakes on. I messed about pretty much the whole year and only did a past paper the night before both the exams and still got an A (100/120). If you understand the lessons you’ll be fine it’s always pretty much the same questions with different numbers.

hii yeah i did it and it was rly useless for me. no unis i applied to cared about it or even counted it at all. it is easy maths tbh. i think it may be even easier than gcse maths because there are less topics and the calculations are simple. what made you wanna do it in the first place?
