Hi @zoe4838,

Although Accounting A-Level can provide an excellent foundation for a Finance and Accounting degree, many universities don't specifically request it.

Have a look at some of the course pages for any universities you might consider applying to; for example,
Kingston University: Accounting and Finance BSc (Hons)
University of Nottingham: Accountancy BSc
QMUL: Accountancy BSc (Hons)

Check the entry requirements to see what grades are asked for (e.g. ABB-AAA) and if any subjects are specified. A-Level Mathematics may be specified by some universities, but as many schools don't offer A-Level Accounting, it's unlikely to be a subject requirement.

Hope this helps and best of luck with your A-Level studies! 🙂

What was your GCSE Maths grade.

And Crim is pretty much a waste of time - its not even a BTEC, its a daft 'diploma' with no academic credibility. If you are interested in this area, do A level Sociology instead.

Just be aware that Finance and Accountancy, degree and career, is maths-heavy. If you didn't enjoy this enough to continue with Maths at A level, its possibly not the best option.
