Sidgwick Prize

Did anyone do the Sidgwick Prize? I got shortlisted and they told me “We will be writing to you again by 30 August to confirm whether you have been awarded a prize this year.”
Still haven’t heard anything two days later, is it safe to assume I didn’t get a prize? But surely they would send an email telling me that I didn’t get one, especially through the use of “confirm whether” as opposed to “if”?
And everyone shortlisted gets invited to a ceremony, so surely even if I didn’t get a prize they would email me with the details about that?
Anyone else in the same boat? Or can offer their thoughts?
(Might be worth mentioning that they were meant to shortlist by 1st August, they ended up pushing it back to 15th August)

I think if you haven't heard by now, you haven't won anything. They sent an email around saying that all the winners had been notified (about 2 hours ago). What section did you do out of interest?

Yep, I got the email not long after posting this. I did law, and the question I chose was whether life imprisonment is justifiable
