I recently completed an access course and i achieved distinctions in everything
as someone who already did my a levels i found it fairly easy
However many students in my class who were not stem students found it very difficult due to the content being taught in a fast pace
so my main advice would be to take notes and start assignments as soon as you get them
the content isnt very difficult and is mostly year 1 a level content

Hi, I’ve completed mine in June - biology & chemistry based. I’m 33, been out of school since I was 16. I got 45 distinctions, my best advise would be start assignments early, voice record your lectures (I listened to mine over and over in the run up to exams) and do further research than just level 3 - use level 4 books to convey a higher level of knowledge & ensure you’re meeting all the learning outcome points. Access courses are very different to alevel, there’s no “do overs” or resits. Keep organised and you’ll do great!
