Dentistry low ucat 2026 entry

Hi, I got 2070 Band 2 in my ucat this year, predicted A*,A*,A,A got straight 9s in 10 subjects at gcse, I'm thinking of applying to dentistry this year but worried about my ucat score being too low for kings or queen mary. 2070 is quivalent to 2790 last year and that was queen Mary's cut off last year so I am a bit worried but I am contextual so idk. Anyone got advice?

Hi
First I suggest you approach QMUL. When we attended the open day, they showed us a paper explicitly stating the UCAT above which they gave interview for both dentistry and medicine. I suggest if you UCAT correspondence to old ucat of 2800 plus then apply to them. The same with KCL both should be good options for you. Avoid Bristol but you may wish to consider Plymouth. My son was interviews by QMU,KCL and Manchester and got two offers from the first two. His GCSE must lower than your.

Thank you so much! What entry year was his son and what was his stats like? I'm just really worried competition is gonna be really fierce this year and I've got a very average ucat so not sure about things!

Hi
My son GCSE 2 x9. , 3 x 8. , 4 x 7, 1 x 6., A level achieved grades A*A*A , ucat 2960b2.
As I suggested, you ask QMUL directly on their UCAT score cutoff for last year.
