Does anyone have any advice for studying Zoology?

What sort of advice are you looking for? Do you want to know where is best to study? How to write a great personal statement to get in to a particular University? Or are are you after revision tips? If you specify the information you are looking for, you may get appropriate answers 🙂

Hi, I suppose I'm mostly curious about what it's like as a subject to study as a student, careers prospects and study tips. Thanks for ur reply, I was a bit vague so I'll probably think about doing another post that's a bit more specific!

Hi, I am currently going into my 3rd year of Zoology at the University of Southampton. So far, I have found it is a great course. I really enjoy how zoology gives you practical experience in both labs and field work, which really helped me decide what I want to do in the future. Zoology is a great mix of teaching and field work which allows you to apply your knowledge and work independently. Southampton offers great fieldwork opportunities in Spain, The New Forest and Belize!

You can go down many career paths by taking zoology, such as ecology, wildlife conservation, researcher, data scientist, and many other unrelated career choices such as teacher.
