A referree for my UCAS application

I applied to dentistry last year and I was unsuccessful.
I am going to resit my A levels this year to get better grades and at the same time apply in this cycle but the problem is my school is not willing to give me predicted grades and also the exam centres I have contacted. That means I can’t apply this year.
I got 3 Bs at A level and I would like to known if someone qualified would like to be my referree and give me predicted grades on UCAS so I can apply this year
You can apply this year without predicted grades. It is a very common scenario that unis are well used to. You don't need to find a random professional.

Are you sure sure??
And wouldn’t that put me on disadvantage against other applicants?
And what about my reference, can I write it myself as it is just extra stuff that i couldn’t include in my personal statement?

Thank you very muchh

No, you can't write your own reference as that would defeat the point

You need to nominate someone familiar with your academic work. Your old school/college should still be able to assist with this, regardless of their position on predictions.

With regards to whether it may disadvantage you, that's a question for the unis you're applying to. If you were reasonably close the first time around, and I would say for most courses in the UK, it shouldn't be any great setback.(IE. it's not any great risk to them to make you an offer, you either achieve the grades or you don't).
