Anyone get to a certain age and give up on relationships?

Curious if anyone is in the same boat

I feel like its more i realise im not really missing out on anything by being single, its not a bad thing. and I enjoyed my space. i had forfilling friendships and had fun. yeah, there were times I felt alone or wished, but overall I enjoyed it (I say this as a now married gal who found her husband playing videogames, adamant from the get go I didn't want a relationship 😆 )

I don’t think you can ever be too old for love

They give worst and best moments and on balance I’d keep coming back. Finding someone reliable and trustworthy makes all the difference

Yes, I was. I was single for 5 years after being in and out of relationships for years. I wasn't actively looking or dating when I met my current boyfriend. I enjoyed being single though and it made me have high standards for any man that came into my life!

Nothing to do with age Everything to do with mental state and the way you see things

Reply 6

Certainly not yet. I enjoy life and I enjoy the company of others too much to give up.

Depends have you been unlucky or lucky in your previous relationships or they turned out badly

Oh ok I was thinking you would be older. 19 is a crazy age to give up on relationships IMO

Love can and will happen at any age/time of life.

most people will say no, hearing about certain late bloomer stories fill me with anger and resentment because its a reminder that not everyone is guaranteed to have relationships or love and intimacy in their young youthful years, or as someone people say, in the prime of their lives, depending on the mindset/mentality, not everyone is guaranteed that around the traditional societal timeline, those are just the facts.
