Anyone in strathclyde university

My biomedical science course schedule was just sent to me. I'm surprised that my lectures are only an hour or two long, mainly on Thursday and Friday, and barely on other days. Does anyone resemble me?

An hour or two is pretty normal lecture time. We have it in Kingston as well. And you’re usually expected to study two hours on your own for every hour in class time.

I do have to say it looks kinda low, like I have about 10 hours of lecture time in a week for 4 days with Wednesdays off in my uni (although a fair portion of it is actually now bio but future skills of something less technical). Even longer with labs.

Is it like that for the whole year? Maybe it’s just lighter in the beginning. Which year are you in? If it’s foundation year yeah you don’t have that many hours.

I’m in my first year (freshman). Well my timetable is for first semester

Usually the timetables aren't complete they're still provisional. Your labs and stuff may not yet be there. Last year I had classes everyday except some Tuesdays in my first semester but I chose two electives so it might be different for you.
