Nursing: Queen's University Belfast or Ulster University?

Hey there, looking into Adult or Mental Health Nursing in Northern Ireland. Unsure which university to go for as the nursing course rating seems fairly similar at both. I'm from County Down so I'd be closer to Queen's but I think I'd quite like to go to Magee as I think I'd enjoy the whole going away, being in a new place aspect of uni. Which university would you recommend? Cheers

It doesnt matter where you train as a Nurse - there is no 'better' course, they all have the same set syllabus and all lead to exactly the same qualification. Have you been to Open Days at either Uni? Which felt the most comfortable, where will you feel happiest?

Unfortunately I was unable to attend the Queen's Open Day but I went up to Magee and thoroughly enjoyed myself. I'm from Co. Down area so Queen's would be closer but on the other hand I'm wanting to go away for Uni anyway. I've heard Ulster is much better support wise and Queen's is more about paying for the brand name. I'm not sure if that's just a falsehood though, obviously there wouldn't be many, if any, people who have been at both.
