International student/home student

Hello everyone!

I'm new to the student room, but just wanted some advice.

I moved to the UK as a child dependent of a person holding a skilled worker visa in 2023. I've done Level 3 BTEC and am currently taking a gap year. My parents and I are non-UK and non-EU/EEA passport holders.

I am hoping to start university in 2026. At that point, I'd have lived in the UK for 3 years. My parents and I would only get ILR 2 years later in 2028.

Would I be allowed to pay Home student fees, or would I come under the international student fees bracket?

Hope someone can answer this question.

Thank you!

Hi there, the fees you pay is determined by the university. They'd be able to clarify the fee amount they are charging you. Thanks, Jason
