About blended nursing posting

Hi, I’m interested in the Blended BSc (Hons) Nursing programme. Please could you tell me:
How many hours per week are expected during placements?
How many days per week does that usually mean?
Do students normally get about one month’s notice before placements begin?

Thank you.

It's 37.5-40 hours a week on placement, minimum 2300 hours over 3 years, "blended learning" or not.
How many days a week this amounts to depends on the usual hours of the placement. if the placement runs 9-5 Monday-Friday, that's 5 days a week. If it's 8-6/8-8 predominantly Monday-Friday, that's 4-4.5 days a week. (Think community, outpatients etc type areas). If the placement runs over 24 hours, with half days of 6-7.5 hours and full days/nights of 12-13 hours, that's 3/3.5/4 shifts a week (think hospital wards, A&E, nursing homes).
Students get 4-6 weeks' notice of where their placement is, notice of what their shifts are like depends on the placement.

Hello,

All nursing degrees must meet the NMC guidelines in regard to placement, placements will be full-time regardless if the course is blended learning.
- It will be an average of 37.5 per week (could be less/more depending on the week).
- 3–4 days per week (e.g., three 12.5-hour shifts, or four/five shorter shifts depending on the placement).
-You will find out your course timetable after enrolling, including the placement blocks and their date, that’s plenty of notice 😊😃.
