Transferring from Stirling to Strathclyde?

I applied to Strathclyde last year for LLB Law, however I was rejected on the basis that too many people applied to be offered a conditional. However my results this year more than exceed the entry requirements for this course. Is it possible to transfer from Stirling (where I’d accepted my offer) to Strathclyde in second year? If it is, how would I go about doing it?

Unlikely - transfers between Law degrees are rare - but its worth phoning Strathclyde to ask if they allow this. Your other option is to decline Stirling, take a gap-year and reapply to Strathclyde OR you could stick with Stirling and think about Strathclyde for postgrad.

Stuck at Stirling with 6 higher A’s isn’t ideal. I’ll Probably gonna take a gap year now.
