Student studying drama - how do I plan an organise my dissertation?

I'm a final year student studying drama. I have chosen my question/topic, but I have no idea how to plan it and prepare for it. I need to plan and prepare in advance, it's part of my OCD. Lecturers are telling me not to worry until I come back to university, but I can't not worry. How do I plan and organise a dissertation that will get me a first class degree?

Hi @withholding-cess is it possible to look at previous dissertations. Seeing a visual example always helps me plan better. If the university can't offer any, you could reach out to someone who has just graduated and ask to see some examples. There are often books in the library to help you plan for things like this, example pieces or 'how tos'. Google scholar may also have peoples dissertations you could look at.
