Transferring from Stirling to Strathclyde?

I applied to Strathclyde last year for LLB Law, however I was rejected on the basis that too many people applied to be offered a conditional. However my results this year more than exceed the entry requirements for this course. Is it possible to transfer from Stirling (where I’d accepted my offer) to Strathclyde in second year? If it is, how would I go about doing it?

Hi @Samuel kinnear 🙂 We can't guarantee that we would accept transfers from other universities. It will depend on how your current study lines up with what we are teaching in year one, alongside how you have done academically (both at school and at your other university).

I'd recommend sending a note of which classes you're taking at Stirling this year to [email protected], alongside your results from school. If they confirm they'd be happy to consider your application, you will apply via UCAS for 2026 entry.

Hope this helps!

Caitlin 🙂
