Halls Move-in Day Documents

I’m moving to UAL halls tomorrow, and I’m checking I have everything I need. I keep seeing ‘important documents’ listed as something I need to bring but there are no specifics. I have my passport, but is there anything else I need in order to move in??

I would imagine you have a letter offering you accommodation, so having that handy on your phone or printed out may be helpful. I think that should be sufficient to move in.

Hey, For UAL halls, “important documents” usually means anything that proves your identity or your student status. Since you already have your passport, you should also bring your UAL offer or enrolment letter, any e-visa or BRP if you’re an international student, and your accommodation contract or confirmation emails. It can also help to have bank details ready in case you need to set up payments, plus emergency contacts and any relevant health information like NHS number or insurance. Most of the time, the staff mainly check your ID and accommodation paperwork, but having these extras makes everything smoother.
