Engineering at Cambridge Supercurriculars

Does anyone have any good engineering supercurriculars that would help in applying to Cambridge or just in general. Preferably free.

Hi.

A potentially unconventional book that I recommend is Power Up by Yasmin Ali. She is an engineer working in energy, and her book explores our current energy methods and the more sustainable methods we could move to (as well as how that transition should look like).

However, as much as I found it to be a good read, I'm not applying to university for a STEM degree, so I do not know if it is suitable/technical enough for an engineering personal statement. Therefore, I recommend that if you do read Power Up that you go into it knowing that it may be a starting off point before you delve into more appropriate books (if you enjoy it and decide that that's what you wish to do).

I hope this helps. 😊
