A level biology advice

I really struggle a lot with application questions in A level biology . I have tried using past papers but it doesn't work. I understand the topics but I don't know to apply my knowledge to a question. Are there any tips that you can give me, I would really appreciate.

What do you mean by application questions? I would have though every question involves applying your knowledge.

Past papers aren't particularly useful if you don't thoroughly go through the mark scheme, understanding the phrasing of the correct answers is really important because of how specific mark schemes. Physics and Maths Tutor also sorts questions by topic, so if you want to do questions by topic, that would be a good way to find them.

Hi, i would recommend that you try to do frequent practice of these questions, maybe look at model answers, the Miss Estruch Biology YouTube channel has some good examples of these model answers. You may also be able to find application questions inside your textbook (i found plenty in the CGP and Collins textbooks).
