Accommodation Fail

Hi there,
I’m supposed to be starting at Swansea in September. I received a verbal offer through clearing, calling UCAS to reject my deferred offer from a different Uni, however UCAS deleted my application, therefore making accepting my Swansea offer long winded and difficult. It took almost a month, and I’ve finally been accepted today! However, I had applied for accommodation ages ago and have only just received my offer. Due to taking so long to process my clearing application, I have been placed in Bay accommodation, a place I cannot afford. Furthermore my lectures are actually on Singleton, and I don’t think commuting is realistic for me personally. I have also only brought items for a single bed, as I only put singleton on my ranked options, so I don’t have the extra money for new items. I have no idea what to do as I just can’t live on bay no matter how nice it is.
Please may someone have any advice????

As i know the singleton campus currently is already completely full ,and there is no way you can apply a accommodation there , i would recommend you stay in the Bay campus as that would be the best option you can have ,or you may want to consider private student hall , which usually offer lower price than university.

If you haven't moved in you may be able to reject the uni accommodation and move into a student house with other students. There are so many rooms people are looking to pass onto others as they signed up a long time ago and now are not needing them. If you're interested in a room in a house with 3 guys near Singleton Campus do let me know as my son is looking to pass his on. He is not carrying g on with his course so doesn't need the room.
