Looking into the details of private student accommodation contracts and agreements can be quite daunting, especially when reading through the terms and legal jargon. My advice would be to speak to your university's students union as many, such as here at Plymouth, have a student advice and support team who can read through your contract to ensure it is legal and fair, and flag anything that doesn't look standard or normal for an agreement.
