1st year med student - Advice
I will be starting med school soon which although I am a little nervous, I'm looking forward to it!
I have a few questions and would appreciate if anyone could answer them.

•
How much do you actually need to study each day during med school? I know the work load will be intense but can you treat it as a 9-5 in a way or does the course require more than that.
•
Is it possible to work part time during the degree? If so, how many hours is recommended?
•
Is it better to use a laptop or ipad in lectures?
•
What's the best way to learn the content, are there any resources you'd recommend using?
•
Generally any tips or advice you think might be useful for a 1st year student. Anything you wish you'd known when starting.
