switching languages at UCL

I'm going to be studying French and German at UCL this year, but on reflection I'd prefer to take up Russian instead of German if there's availability for it. Is there any way to switch before term starts or do I have to wait?

There's a process to request a change via portico I believe?

Bear in midn though that on the one hand Russian is part of SSEES which is a separate department to SELCS (which has French and German in it), although on the other hand I think most language courses are somewhat under-subscribed so I imagine you probably could be considered for it. There's no guarantees of course...

Note you'll also need to change the course details you're applying for SFE funding for and this may cause a delay in your loans being released, so definitely do it ASAP to minimise the potential delay!
