Chances into getting into LSE with a 5 in maths GCSEs

I'm planning on studying International Relations BSc and I meet all offers and the contextual offers except I have a 5 in my maths GCSEs. Will I still be likely in getting into LSE?

You're very likely to be rejected:

"For GCSEs, you’ll need a strong pre-16 academic profile such as several GCSE grades of A (or 7) and A* (or 8-9).
We also ask for a good set of GCSE grades or equivalent across a broad range of subjects, with a minimum of grade B (or 6) in GCSE English Language and Mathematics."

GCSE requirements are not flexible, and applying without these specific grades is the quickest way to get an immediate rejection. Talk to your school about retaking GCSE Maths - usually very straightforward - or just pick different Unis.
